SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Intent

This Sustainability Policy formalises our commitment to supporting the principles of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and recognises that a sustainable environment is central to our lives and our work.

The aim of our Sustainability Policy is to:

  •   Implement environmental actions within the company

  •   Monitor the environmental actions and improvements internally

  •   Reiterate our commitment towards a fair, equitable and diverse work environment

 

Scope

This policy and associated procedures apply to all employees and contractors working for the company.

Sustainability Policy

TCI respects our relationship with the natural environment and its ecosystems. We acknowledge the adverse impacts that human activity can impose and take actions to prevent degradation of those natsural systems.

 

TCI commits to the following principles and practices:

  • Monitoring and managing our environmental performance and working towards targets set to reduce adverse impacts.

  • Complying with relevant State and Local environmental policy, practices, regulations and legislation, and industry-specific legislation.

  • Reducing the consumption of natural resources in daily operations, including water, paper and energy.

  • Maximising the recycling of resources and appropriate waste disposal.

  • Committing to the principles of preventing pollution to the environment and continual improvement.

  • Minimising pollution by taking steps to limit carbon emissions resulting from vehicle and air travel.

  • Implementing strict measures to ensure there is no involvement with money laundering, corruption or bribery, child labor, forced labor or any instances of human rights or labor violations.

  • Fostering openness, sustainability, and respect 

  • Where possible, encouraging suppliers to meet high standards of environmental and social performance.

  • Communicating this policy to all employees, contractors and other stakeholders, as well as making this policy available to the general public.

  • Reporting on the company’s sustainability performance in both internal and external communications, where relevant.

  • Continuous monitoring of ESG commitments.

Business ethics and compliance policy

At the core of this framework is strong governance and a robust risk and compliance framework. This framework is supported by procedures and systems to ensure that we apply, at all times, high levels of personal and professional integrity.

We have put in place the necessary policies and procedures including a code of conduct and an initial assessment of the reputation of potential vendors, partners and suppliers, identification and monitoring of these entities through rigorous due diligence enquiries and monitoring our work environments to ensure that the highest standards of compliance are embedded right across TCI's operations across the world.

Vendor Code of Conduct

TCI  is committed to conducting business in a legal, ethical, and responsible manner and requires that our suppliers and vendors work at the same high level of standards. We do not enter into, or maintain, relationships with individuals or organisations engaged in, or suspected of having engaged in, illegal or activities which go against our code of ethics.

Human rights policy

TCI has established a zero-tolerance position on violations to the United Nations Guiding Principles’ anti-human trafficking and anti-modern slavery principles.

We implement active measures to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
